Wood boards conquer cardboard.
Make your tactics tactile.
Play a lot of RISK? Your cardboard map deserves a Chartsman luxury upgrade... This custom drawn wooden world map (and bonus armies counter!) is a perfect, if unofficial companion for your board game night. This luxury upgrade is incredibly satisfying to play on. Why should D&D and Warhammer have all the fun?
All of the continents are laser cut from cherry and walnut boards separately. Collectively the map takes up around 20 x 30″ (it’s huge). Because all of the continents and islands are separated, you can still stack this board inside of a game-sized box or drawer. Or keep it on display permanently as art, and then bring it to the table for game night.
My board is designed to work fully with a game of Risk you already own. No cards, instructions, playing piece, or dice (etc.) are included (this a professional, but unaffiliated fan upgrade). Some liberties are taken to improve the game experience, like making Great Britain and Iceland a tad bigger so your armies don’t fall off. The arrows connecting island countries are also very well defined, and satisfying to conquer.
Your Luxury Map's 12 Pieces:
6 Wooden Continents (3 Walnut, 3 Cherry)
1 Bonus Armies Spinner Counter (Dual woods, 4") Counter spins from 4 up to 60, and includes a continent bonus list.
5 Arrow Connectors (Japan, Great Britain, Greenland, etc.)
(Bring your existing cards, armies, etc. to play of course. This is a map upgrade to your existing copy of the game.)
All pieces are cut from 0.2" cherry and walnut faced boards, thoroughly sealed with oil. Stronger, more durable, and more water resistant than any cardboard (can handle accidental spills of your beer!)

You could also glue your pieces to a board and hang it up as art, and take it down from the wall when you’re ready to play! This board and counter could potentially be paired with other game formats or creative uses of your own design.
