Most depictions of the earth and our moon, in pop culture and even in textbooks or diagrams, are not to scale. Like not at all, even if they illustrate the relative sizes they are rarely show the appropriate distance. Small paper/screens = no room to convey the scale.
Thanks to the huge 36" width of this new (first edition) Lunar Distance Chart, you can deck your walls with a literal, actual, almost-too-accurate chart of the oblate spheroid we call home (Earth, it's earth, not a quiz), and its satellite brother from another mother (Technically Theia?), our moon (Luna). Also has a detailed scale of this area of our solar system, including some man-made satellite orbits.
This minimal, retro NASA inspired design borrows from some rich design vibes of old Apollo project documentation and photos, but it's an original chart designed to fit in with any aesthetic. Now finished production, this is a signed and numbered (by the artist) 36x12" first edition screen print on natural cream-colored French Paper.
Edition size is 112, your print will be uniquely numbered in pencil like x / 112.
